Basement

We have just started work on a 500m2 x 3 m deep basement for a domestic dwelling with a 14m x 4m underground swimming pool.

Works include:

• 100m of temporary earthwork supports to be installed.
• The removal of 4,500 tonnes of excess spoil to form basement levels and underground swimming pool
• Preperation for raft foundation including, formation of levels, shuttering for concrete, waterproofing, fixing of 30 tonnes of bent reinforcement, and concreting to form rafted foundations.
• Concrete walls including all reinforcement and waterproofing.
• Shuttering and concreteing of swimming pool walls.
• All associated drainage and service works.
