Basement

Providing all ground works for a 450m2 x 3 m deep basement for a domestic dwelling with a 14m x 5m underground swimming pool.

Works included:

• The removal of 3,500 tonnes of excess spoil to form basement levels and underground swimming pool
• Preperation for raft foundation including, formation of levels, shuttering for concrete, waterproofing, fixing of 30 tonnes of bent reinforcement, and concreting to form rafted foundations.
• Working alongside piling contarctors to install 64No 450mm contigous piles to form swimming pool area.
• Construction of shuttered concrete walls including all reinforcement and waterproofing.
• Shuttering and concreteing of swimming pool walls.
• All associated drainage and service works.
• Strip foundations for traditionaly built garage.
